Most vendors do not publish this. These are listed so they can be checked against your requirements before a decision.
Accounting integration
Invoices and credit instructions posted to Sage, which stays the ledger. Every comparable product integrates with an accounts package and we do not yet. It is the most exposed gap we have.
Engineering change control
A proposed revision held separately, compared against the one in use, approved, and applied with an effectivity date. Needed for aerospace work.
First article inspection
AS9102 triggers on a new part, a revision change or a process change, with the NPI checklist against the part.
Quarantine as a stock state
A non-conformance that physically holds the batch, so held stock cannot be issued.
Serial numbers
Configurable serial tracking for finished equipment and warranty work, without forcing serials onto bar and sheet material.
Returns and RMA
Closing the journey after despatch: receipt, inspection, repair or replacement, stock disposition and a credit instruction.
Stocktakes and barcode
Counting, cycle counts, picking, transfers and barcode actions against items, locations and lots.
Controlled document storage
Material certificates held as immutable versions with approvals and retention, rather than the link register we have today.
