Why this product exists
Manufacturers between roughly twenty-five and a hundred and fifty people are stuck between two kinds of software. Tier-one ERP is heavy, slow to implement and priced for a different size of company. Lightweight job management starts quickly and stops before planning, traceability and quality become real.
Keystone is built for the middle: a system that follows the job from enquiry to despatch, plans material and capacity properly, and holds the evidence a customer or an auditor will eventually ask for.
Security is where we came from. Commstec is a security-first managed service provider — Cyber Essentials certified and ISO 27001 aligned — and that shows in how Keystone is built. Every page, action and export is permission-checked on the server, access is scoped by site and role, and the codebase has been through a penetration review. Your factory data is not an afterthought in somebody’s inventory app.
What we will not do. We do not control machinery. Telemetry reads in and never out, and an automated test enforces that rather than a policy. We do not replace your accounting ledger, your CAD or your payroll. A product that tries to be everything gets implemented badly.
